As previously announced on August 12th, CBOT will launch "Project Denali" on October 25, 2004. This project will use electronic devices – for Order-Routing (OR) and Hand-Held-Terminals (HHT's) both to capture and then, if possible, to match trades executed via open outcry, and will apply both to SLEDS and outrights. Sample TREX messages for Project Denali trades are now available to firms at ftp.cme.com/pub/span/data/cme/test. There are four files: order-routing SLEDS, order-routing outrights, hand-held terminal SLEDS, hand-held-terminal outrights.
